MISSION STATEMENT
The Singing Stone Studio is dedicated to the advancement of Native Pueblo sculpture, art and culture through education, information, research and technical assistance.
LOCATION
The Singing Stone Studio is located in the beautiful Pueblo of Jemez, approximately 50 miles north of Albuquerque, NM. It was built by Cliff Fragua to provide an atmosphere where he could work near the pueblo, and maintain his cultural and family ties. The surrounding village and natural landscapes provide inspiration and a focus for his work.
Come visit Cliff at his studio, and spend some time there. You will be able to talk with him, and learn what is involved in the creative process of stone carving, as well as view and purchase his current works. (It is best to call ahead to ensure his availability.)
