The New Mexico Statuary Hall Commission

In 1998, New Mexico Legislature created the Statuary Hall Commission, and its members were appointed by the Governor.  This Commission is responsible for directing the process of commissioning and placing a second statue, representing New Mexico, in the National Statuary Hall in the U.S. Capitol Complex in Washington D.C.
